Our Story
Laura and Veronica first met when they worked part time at a Montessori in Killiney. Although they both went their separate ways work wise, they remained good friends and both decided to become fully qualified early years educators, in line with the requirements set out by the ever changing regulatory bodies.
Now both fully qualified, they decided to open their own Pre School and set about finding premises, when they discovered the Carry Centre, in a fantastic location opposite Fitzpatrick's Hotel on Killiney Hill. The Carry Centre had just been fully refurbished and equipped to cater for the needs of a nursery school and the Vestry of Holy Trinity Church played a big part in getting Blossom off the ground.Blossom opened its doors on the 28th August 2014 and welcomed its first pupil, Harry who will always hold a special place in our hearts. Over the years, Blossom grew and we survived the Pandemic. Even when we couldn't get in to the Carry Centre, we tried to keep in touch with our children via Zoom and we held regular "Virtual Circle Times" to try and keep everyone together.
In August 2021, Emma joined the team working Thursdays and Fridays and in August 2022, Belinda joined us as well.
